Latest Review of OGM Pit Bikes: OGM 140sx 140cc Pit BIke
We purchased 2 of the blue OGM 140sx 140cc models with the 10/10 inch wheel combo, and 2 of the black OGM 140sx 140cc models with the 10/12 inch wheel combo. For those of you who prefer to get more torque out of the corners and be a tad more snapper, we prefer you get the blue 10/10 wheel combo. However, if you want more top end, we would recommend you get the 10/12 wheel combo. We put these things through 3 phases of tests, one with experienced riders, one with novice riders and finally, our personal tests, here's what they had to say.
Novice Riders -
The OGM 140sx blue 10/10 bike felt almost just like the OGM 125cc SX model that we tested, however, the 140 of course has different race components on it. We loved the new billet kick start lever, and the DNM rear shock. We adjusted the FASTACE front shocks rebound to what we like, and adjusted the DNM rear shocks rebound and sag. These adjustments were really for us, no tools needed! We did a few laps, and noticed the bike get settled quickly in turns, and transitions quickly through switch backs. We give this bike a 8/10. The next bike we tested was the OGM 140sx black 140cc version. This bike was the same, however, it had the larger rear wheel 10/12 combo. I followed the same adjustments as i did before on the 140cc 10/10 blue bike. The black version was really torque, and super fast. Its also nice to see comfort type grips on these bikes. We give this bike a 8/10.
Experienced Riders -
The OGM 140sx blue and black versions are crazy fast! We blow everything out of the water, any honda 88cc, almost any 125cc pit bike! The 140sx has so much torque, if you nail the throttle, it will pull wheelie's all day long. Both bikes delivered excellent power, and delivered it in a consistent manner, great for track racing. With the DNM rear shock, and FastAce Front shock, made doubles and table tops a breeze! Overall these bikes rock, and if you want to win, pick on up!
Our Tests -
Now, we've ran the 125cc version of the OGM pit bikes into the ground, and they still keep kicking. So we knew the OGM 140sx version of these bikes are gonna rock. The 140sx pit bike has so many new parts, where should we start, new powerful lifan 140cc motor, hydraulic clutch, billet everywhere, DNM rear shock, FastAce front shock, Comfort grips, new frame layout, put all that together and your looking a real race machine. On the track this thing acts like its on rails, blowing through every turn, and jumping with wings. We cant wait to see what's up next for OGM.
